In this weeks blog post I will demonstrate a simple method for combining text and dates within the same cell. Doing this using "Concatenate" or the "&" separator will result in a mismatch when data types are different. Here is an example of using the "&" operator to combine three cells (i.e. A2, B2 and C2).
Here is the formula that allows the conversion of date to text and the concatenation as desired:
=A2 &" "& TEXT(B2,"mm/dd/yyyy") &" to " & TEXT(C2,"mm/dd/yyyy")
