The syntax for counting unique values in Webi is different from the one used in MS Excel or SQL.
Consider the table below containing and list of product IDs and the customers who purchased each product.
While the “Product ID” column contains unique records, the “Customer ID” column contains many duplicates. Here is the Webi syntax for counting the number of unique Customer IDs.
=Count ([Customer ID]; distinct) Here is the result after applying the formula above to the Customer ID range. As you could observe while there are 30 unique values for Product ID, there are only 19 unique values for Customer ID.
