Very recently I came to learn a very interesting trick that makes working with Power Point slides much easier. I found out that the ribbon in MS Power Point is set for hot keys. By hitting “ALT” you can access the shortcut to the ribbon and you will see letters popping up each of which are a shortcut to one section of the ribbon. By hitting that letter in the keyboard you could access that section of the ribbon without having to even use your mouse or pointer Let me provide a practical example. Lets say you want to add a picture to a slide in your Power Point deck. You can do this in a very fast way by using hot key. Just follow these three easy steps: STEP 1] All you have to do is hit “ALT” on your keyboard. You will see shortcut letters pop up on the ribbon. STEP 2] The letter N on the top left hand side of the ribbon is for the insert section so we hit N on the keyboard STEP 3] Another series of letters pop up this time we select the letter P as it stands for Pictures and from there we could select the picture that we wish to attach to our Power Point.
