You may have noticed that creating a line break in a MS Excel cell can NOT be achieved by pressing ENTER on the keyboard (as opposed to MS Word and many other applications). Consider the Table below: Say we want to the content of the header (i.e. “TEST CASE#” and “TEST CASE STATUS”) spread within two lines. For example, in cell B2 we want CASE# to appear on a second line within the same cell. If we put the cursor before CASE# in Cell B2 and press ENTER, this will not be done! No Worries though! Here is a simple keyboard trick that will let us do this. Simply place your cursor before the text that you want on the next line and then press ALT and ENTER keyboard keys at the same time. Here is the desired outcome when applied to both cells.
