​The “at” symbol on my keyboard Stopped working! How to fix it?

Many people experience that the @ symbol has been replaced with  the ” symbol at one time or another when using their keyboard. This could be very nerve racking, specially if you want to send out an email and don’t have access to the @ symbol, but not if you know the solution!
 
The reason for this anomaly is that you have either intentionally or accidentally pushed the CTRL and SHIFT buttons of the keyboard at the same time. So the solution is as simple at striking these two keys at the same time.
